Happy Thanksgiving!

Last year at this time, I wrote about my thankfulness for my new baby girl, my family, but most of all for YOU.
I would like to be stunningly original this year, but that pretty much sums it up. When I started blogging four years ago, I had no idea what kind of ups and downs my life would take.
I had no idea I would start blogging about home stuff, veer off into quilting, then around to gardening, then to food and back to home again. I had no idea I would add a second child to my family, or stop blogging for stretches at a time.
One thing I definitely didn't know, and that still stuns me to this day, is that I had no idea that people would help me. Perfect strangers, who I have never met, and will likely never meet, would take their precious time and comment on my dilemmas, my successes and my challenges. Would share my sorrow over sad events or our joy over blessed ones.
I just had no idea.
We all say it a lot, how thankful we are for the people who read our blogs. But it truly bears repeating.
I can't imagine a life more blessed than one with all of you in it.
I am humbled by your generosity and your creativity and your passion.
Thank you.
To each of you, whom I really do count as my dear friends -- Happy Thanksgiving. May your holiday season be as bright as all of our lights shining together can be.
Your friend,
P.S. Yes, those are food photos from recipes that I haven't gotten around to posting yet.
P.P.S. I've got lots more to share on the subject of the Front Porch... stay tuned over the weekend! :-)

Happy Thanksgiving Angela to you and your family. The food looks delicious by the way! Don't worry about your home...give yourself time to bring it up to your standards. The front porch looks lovely after some TLC. You should have seen ours before we finally torn it all out and started over. And we have been here almost 11 years. Finally after years of working (long hours and long commutes) we have time to do some projects now that we are retired. Enjoy your family and the time you have together. And before you know it you will have fixed up your home just the way you want it.

If it doesn't sound too weird, I'm thankful for your blog among other things. You've inspired me and helped me to make this dinky little old house more "me." And I completely forgot about the cranberry sauce until I saw your photo above, so I'm thankful for that, too! Lol. Happy Thanksgiving, hope you make a happy memory today.
