Will You Be My Valentine?

Do you have big plans for today? I have to be honest, we don't have elaborate plans, but I'm sure there will be lots of hugs and kisses for everyone in my family. Oh yes, and of course the Valentine exchange for the kiddos. Such fun!

Did you know how the tradition of sending Valentine's got started? I'm no expert, but what I've heard is that way back when, there was a king who didn't think knights should be married. But the knights wanted to be married, and there was one priest who went ahead and married them anyway. His name was Valentine. When he was taken prisoner and kept in the castle for breaking the King's law, he wrote letters to all of his friends and relatives and signed them all "Your Valentine."
