Expecting Another

Prunus Kwanzan Cherry Blossom

Hi everybody!

There's something I have been wanting to talk to you all about. I know that some of you noticed that there was a couple of months or so where I dropped off the face of the earth and didn't post. Then I just sort of started posting again and didn't mention being absent.

Well, there's a reason for that! I was nauseous for a few months there, so nauseous that I couldn't be at my computer for more than a few minutes without getting seasick. And then I wasn't nauseous, but I wasn't quite ready to talk about it yet.

But now I am.

And yes, if you've already guessed: I'm expecting! Tee hee! Our little bundle of joy is expected in mid-October. Of course, I'm dying to start on the new nursery, but I'm waiting until next month when I find out whether we're having a girl or a boy. I'll let you know.

Yay!

~Angela :-)

Congrats! I can so relate. I found out mid-March that I was 14 weeks pregnant. It explained ALOT!!! So, I too, have taken some time off b/c I have alot to do to get ready, since I haven't done this in 10 years! I'm due 9/15. Best of luck! I hope neither of us need it!

Congratulations, Angela. I hope it's all smooth sailing from here. May you have a "just warm enough" summer and some sitting time to enjoy it before the big event. Beautiful flower picture.

How wonderful! I'm glad you were gone for a happy reason, and not a sad one. October is a great time to have a birthday--that's when mine is. ;-)

I was wondering why you didn't post for such a long time and now I know. My dear, this is such wonderful news and, of course, the best reason for not posting, ever!

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Babies are the absolute best!! :)

Well, Angela, I had wondered what in the world happened to you. Now, a new baby, so I guess you'll REALLY be busy after October. Hope you can continue to blog occasionally though. We've missed ya!

ooooh angelllllaaa! oh angela of the chandelier... (i hope you get notified of any new posts - even if it is on a topic different that the one it appears on) i DID IT> i decorated my chandy after looking at yours. it turned out great! i used almost invisible fishing line and multi colored/shaped glass beads, strung in a pattern of sorts, and spaced so the beads hang in the air. i love it. neighbors love it, and DH loves it. joy! thanks for the inspiration!jkj

Congratulations and blessings to you and your family.

Congratulations! I'm glad you are feeling better. Babies are so exciting!

Congratulations!!!! I can certainly relate. I was MIA for the first 3 months of both of my pregnancies.

Congrats! I can totally relate to dropping off the face of the earth for a couple of months. I am due the first week in October and was nautious for the entire first trimester. Again, congrats! Enjoy your pregnancy (as much as possible).

What wonderful news Angela! I'm thrilled for you--and happy to hear you're feeling better. That nausea can be so miserable. I swear I was sick for 9 months with both of my pregnancies and thought I might not survive them!

Congratulations!! :-)

Julia Ross:

I just came across your blog. Congratulations!!! So happy to hear you are feeling better. I have a new 2 month old baby girl and was so nauseated for the first seventeen weeks. I do know where you are coming from. However, she was soooo worth it. Keep us posted.

Congrats! I know what you mean about not being able to blog during the morning sickness period. The thought of blogging and/or sewing (two of my favorite pasttimes!) actually made me want to vomit. Thank goodness that's over!

Jill:

Congrats! I'd love to share my birthday with your little one - October 23. Of course, that's a little past the middle of October, so I'll understand completely if you prefer an earlier date!
