Shall We Chat?

Sometimes things don’t work out exactly the way you planned. I’m sure that’s not news to anyone. I’m 47 now and I don’t think anything in my life has ever gone exactly the way I planned. Sometimes more so, sometimes less. Here’s something that I didn’t plan: I didn’t plan to blog for 10 years. I also didn’t plan to take a year and a half off of from it. But these things happen.

Honestly, the last couple of years have been…. interesting? Yes, interesting. In the “may you live in interesting times,” interesting. As in some of the craziest times of my life. But also some of my biggest growth as a person. I have a lot to share with you. But I have a question: what do you actually want to hear? I mean, we all know I can talk and talk and talk–but I’d like to start by listening. Why do you come here? What is it you hope to see when you find out I’ve put up a new post? What interests you, inspires you, motivates you? I’d like to know.

Comment below and tell me: what are you struggling with in your home? What do you want to hear from me? How can I help you?

Thank you for taking the time to chat with me, and sticking by me all these years. I look forward to visiting more with you in the months and years ahead.

With love,

~Angela :-)

  1. Friend, I’m so happy to see a post from you. We go so, so gar back! I’m truly happy to see anything you post. I will be so happy to catch up with you!

    • Awww, you are so sweet! And yes, we do! I still remember trying to help find flowers for your garden at your old house. I’m not sure that was at all helpful, but I’m glad I got to know you. <3

Anything, Angela, anything! I love all your posts – garden, diy, personal journey, home progress to name a few things. I am about to pull out your information on whipping cream from years ago for today’s pumpkin pie. I printed it out because it was so helpful, especially the pictures showing the peaks and valleys of cream. So there – you may not have been actively blogging lately but you live on in my life. I’ve missed you.

    • Hi Barbara!! So nice to hear from you! I’m so glad that it’s been helpful, truly! I’m also so grateful that you’ve hung out with me all these years. Welcome!! ~Angela~

By the way, although it says I am already subscribed I did not get this in my email Inbox. I found it from an Instagram notice. You might have to investigate further, but I hope it doesn’t derail you from blogging. AND happy Thanksgiving!!!!

  4. I loved hearing from you again! Over the years I’ve enjoyed everything you have shared and I look forward to more. I just enjoy ‘following’ you to see what you’ve been doing. You have always inspired me – and I look forward to more!

  5. I haven’t had a chance to read all of your blogs in the past, but as someone who reads blogs often to see how other people tackle a certain problem I may have (like tackling a bathroom renovation) and hopefully find innovative solutions I can use in my everyday life. So, welcome back to the blogging world!
