Three Things Thursday No. 1: What Crafts Do You Want?

Hey there!

It's me, Angela, formerly of Cottage Magpie. So, how are your holiday preparations going so far? Are you overwhelmed or did you pare things down? I really hope that you choose a few things that matter and let the rest go!! I’m trying to do the same.

Meanwhile, I’ve got three things to share with you today. You know that game, Two Truths and a Lie? Well, it’s kind of like that except it’s two questions and a blog post! LOL!

I know you’re busy, so I’ll keep this short and sweet today. Here we go.

Thing 1: What Holiday Crafts Would You Like?

I have a whole lotta crafts piled up that I have being doing or have done in years past that I’d love to share with you, but I know I can’t get them all posted before the month is over. I’ve got ornaments, gift wrapping, kid-friendly fun, Christmas stockings…. So, what would you like to see? Write back and tell me.

Thing 2: Ask Me Anything

While you’re writing me back about the crafts, go ahead and ask me anything you’d like! I did this recently on social media and it was really fun to connect with people and answer their questions, so I wanted to do it here as well. Anything at all you are curious about, go ahead and ask. I will answer all the questions in the next newsletter.

Thing 3: How to Make a Quilt

Quilting Roadmap: How to Make a Quilt Step-by-Step via www.angelamaywaller.com

Okay, I know it’s not holiday themed, I’m sorry! But when I did my Ask Me Anything on social media, one of the things that was asked was for a basic overview of what steps are involved in making a quilt and in what order. So I wrote one! Here’s the link:

Quilting Roadmap: How to Make a Quilt Step-by-Step

I hope you’ll check it out and let me know if it’s helpful or if there’s anything that could be better!

That’s it!

Like I said, short and sweet today. I look forward to hearing back from you and I’ll see you again next week!!

Much love,

Love, Angela

Angela Grace

Angela Grace’s first quilt was started when she was 18, given away unfinished when she was 22, gotten back when she was 34 and finished when she was 39. Now that Angela makes quilts in significantly less time, she’s on a mission to make quilting simple so that new quilters can be creative. When she is not hanging out on the internet you can find her quilting, gardening, reading, or, most frequently, daydreaming.
